Celebrating Easter Fest and Palm Sunday: Join Us for Joyful Worship and Community Fun

Easter and Palm Sunday are special times that bring communities together to celebrate faith, hope, and joy. This year, Chapel Hill is partnering with BCFS to host an Easter Fest filled with fun activities for children and families. Alongside this, the church invites everyone to a meaningful Palm Sunday service that marks the beginning of Holy Week. Whether you want to enjoy a lively Easter Egg Hunt or reflect on the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, these events offer something for everyone. Let’s explore what you can expect and how you can join in the celebration.

Easter Fest is not just about fun; it’s about creating memories and sharing the spirit of Easter with those around us. Mark your calendars and invite your neighbors and friends to join in.

Reflecting on Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday holds deep significance as it commemorates Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. This event marks the start of Holy Week, a time of reflection and preparation for Easter. Chapel Hill warmly invites church family and friends to join the Palm Sunday services on March 29, 2026.

What Happens During the Service

  • Uplifting Worship and Praise: The service begins with songs and prayers that celebrate the arrival of Jesus as King.

  • Palm Processional for Children and Families: Children and families will participate in a special procession, waving palm branches to remember the crowd that welcomed Jesus.

  • Inspiring Message: Pastor Becky will share a message that highlights the hope and promise found in this sacred day.

This service is a time to prepare hearts for the journey through Holy Week, reflecting on sacrifice and the joy of resurrection.

How to Get Involved

Both Easter Fest and Palm Sunday services offer ways for everyone to participate and contribute. Here are some ideas:

  • Volunteer: Help with setting up, organizing the egg hunt, or serving refreshments.

  • Invite Others: Bring family, friends, and neighbors who might enjoy the events or find comfort in the worship service.

  • Share Your Story: During fellowship, share what Easter and Palm Sunday mean to you and listen to others’ experiences.

  • Participate Online: If you cannot attend in person, join the 11:00 AM Palm Sunday service online to stay connected.

These events are about building community and celebrating faith together. Your presence and participation make a difference.
