Community In Unity was a Hit!

The numbers:

• Over 315 attendees

• 17 Teams

• 51+ Players

• 19 Youth between ours and Medina Valley (Thanks Kiddos!)

• 400 plates of BBQ (Thanks Brady Betancourt)

  • 90 pounds of pulled pork

  • 3 whole briskets

  • 60 chicken quarters

  • 15 pounds of potato salad (Thanks Women in Fath)

  • Cookies, cupcakes, and lemon cake

• 5 Band Members (Thanks One Achord)

• 10+ members of the Rio Texas Conference

• 2 drink stations (Thanks Methodist Men)

• 5 Members of the Shaver Family

• 1 Registration desk manned by Mission in Action aka the Back Row Bunch

• Several members of Guardians of the Children

• 1 bouncy house (Thanks Rainbow Castles)

• Countless Volunteers that showed up early to dry the court and set everything up

• Infinite fun

Yesterday we dedicated the Shaver Basketball court with prayers from the Rio Texas Conference, our bishop and so many members of our community.
